It’s Go Time with Arj Barker

Arj Barker Go TimeOn Saturday, November 30, Mudgee is in for a hilariously entertaining treat!  If you’re a fan of comedy, you’re not going to want to miss one of the most celebrated international comedians (and arguably Australia’s favourite American comedian) performing at Parklands Resort & Conference Centre.  Arj Barker is coming to town, and our team at Professionals Mudgee Real Estate are incredibly excited to get along to Parklands Resort at 8pm on the 30th to have a laugh with the rest of Mudgee.

According to Arj, Go Time is both ‘what audiences expect from me AND the last thing they expect from me, which if my calculations are correct, will make for a great show’.  His shows are generally sell-outs, and this one looks like being no different although there are still some tickets available right now.  You’ll need to hurry though if you don’t want to miss out.

For more information, head over to the Parklands Resort website or phone 02 6372 4500, or grab your tickets online.  As fans of Arj Barker, we’d love to see lots of our friends and followers supporting his show and enjoying all the laughs with us at the end of the month.  If you need a bit of cheering up – or are looking for a fun date night out – grab your tickets and we’ll see you there!

The 2013 Wine and Food Festival is on its way!

Mudgee food and wine 1If you live, work or love to visit Mudgee, our team at Professionals Mudgee Real Estate highly recommend you get your diary out and get ready to mark in all the fantastic not-to-be-missed events coming up in the 2013 Wine and Food Festival this September.  Over the coming weeks we’ll be letting you know some of our top picks for the festival, which runs from September 13 to 29, and we’d love to see everyone from Mudgee coming along to enjoy all the delicious festivities.

Here are just a couple of the wonderful daily events that will be running throughout the duration of the Wine and Food Festival in Mudgee this September:

  • Gourmet Tasting Platters and Sweet Things at Moothi Estate.  Enjoy one of the many mouth-watering tasting platters with a complimentary glass of your favourite Moothi Estate wine.  No booking are necessary.
  • Lowe Wines Walk/Cycle Tour at Lowe Wines.  Pick up a Rachael Flynn map from the cellar door and follow through the vineyards, orchards and farmlands of Lowe Wines at your own leisure either on foot or a leisurely peddle on your bike.

And if you’re out and about this weekend and would like to get involved in some of the delicious fun, here are our picks:

  • Kick off your weekend in style Friday night at Parklands Resort, as you indulge in the Mudgee Wine Trophy Show Dinner.  With a celebrity MC on hand, you’ll be entertained while tasting last year’s trophy winners.
  • Saturday night, join the festivities at Lowe Wines and book you seat at Lowe Winemakers Table.  Your tastebuds will be tantalised with five courses of Kim’s rustic regional food matched perfectly by David to the very best of Lowe Wines.
  • Kick off your Sunday with a fantastic Farm Walk with Midgee Fine Foods at Leaning Oak Winery & Dairy plus Di Lusso Vineyard.  This is a great opportunity to head out with the family and see where and how our home-grown food is grown.
