There will also be prizes and a free sausage sizzle and drinks also available. For all further information, contact Bethany Greenfield on 6378 2850.

If you’ve never experienced Gooree Park’s popular ‘breakfast on the track’, February is a great time to start as – due to popular demand – Gooree Park will be delivering happy punters the opportunity to come along to a bubbly breakfast any Saturday in February (9th, 16th and 23rd) from 7am to 10.30am.

The bubbly breakfast package includes:

* Gooree Bubbles and continental breakfast while watching Gooree Park horses during track work
* Guided Stud Tour
* Wine tasting in the cellar door

There are limited seats available for each morning, so please book in early so you don’t miss out.  It’s only $45 per person – not bad for 3 ½ hours of fun, bubbles, gorgeous scenery and a full belly.  And as if that’s not enough, just by coming along to a bubbly brekkie in February, you’ll go in the draw to win a double pass to the VIP enclosure at the 2013 Gooree Park Cup at Mudgee Race Course on the 5th of May.  You’ll feel like a king/queen, with lunch, beer and wine all free flowing for the duration of the races.
Please call 6378 1800 to book your seat, and please make sure you share this link with your friends so they don’t miss out.  When it comes to a bubbly breakfast, our opinion is the more the merrier!

Gooree Cup & Mudgee Dragons Weekend

We want to make a weekend of the Gooree Cup coming up in early May 2012, combined with first Mudgee Dragons home game at Glen Willow Oval the day before. Now that’s what we call a weekend of fun and entertainment!

Saturday the 5th of May is the Mudgee Dragons’ first home game of the season, and with the new developments that have taken place at Glen Willow, there’s bound to be a bit of a crowd. For those that are coming in to support the opposition, and for locals as well, it’s a great opportunity to stay on for the Gooree Cup race day on Sunday the 6th of May.

As part of Racing NSW’s “Saddle Up Sundays” campaign, the Gooree Cup is featuring all the trimming and pre-event glamour, including cocktail party, equine art exhibition, high tea and fashion parade, tours of Gooree Park Stud & Winery (sponsors of the event) and VIP race day lunch.

As part of the weekend of sport, local businesses are encouraged to embrace the atmosphere by decorating offices and shops in racing and/or Dragons theme during the week leading up to the events.

We would love to see the community actively promote the weekend of the 5th and 6th of May, and encourage family and friends to come along to support our local Mudgee Dragons team, as well as local racing at the Mudgee Racecourse. We’re passionate about both sports and hope to see you there! Now is the time to start organising travel, accommodation and what you’re going to wear or decorate your business in!
