Hundreds of people across the Mudgee region will be waking up early tomorrow morning to pay tribute to the sacrifices of Australian servicemen and women.
This year’s Anzac Day is the final year of the Centenary of Anzac, a four-year commemorative event that marks 100 years since World War One (1914 – 1918).
Crowds will gather at the cenotaph in Robertson Park ready for a dawn service at 6am.
Later on in the day there will be an Anzac Day march starting at Club Mudgee at 10:40 (best to get there early so you’re ready for the procession to begin) and making its way to Robertson Park, ready for an 11am service.
There will also be services held in Gulgong, Rylstone and Kandos.
