Motoring enthusiasts will be rolling into Kandos this Australia Day weekend (27-28 January) to catch the annual Kandos Street Machine and Hot Rod Show.
The car show is held annually at the end of January, attracting thousands of competitors and spectators from around the state to Simpkins Park in Kandos.
Scrutineering will kick off at midday on Friday but Saturday will be the big day of the event with an open air show’n’shine, go-to-whoa, sound-off and burnout eliminations, with a DJ, bucking bull and fireworks rounding out the evening.
On Sunday there will be grass events, burnout finals, riders trying to do the most donuts in 30 seconds and a presentation.
The weekend will also feature a wide range of trade stands and food and drinks, plus visitors are invited to camp on site on the Friday and Saturday nights, at $30 per adult per night, or $40 for both nights. Kids can camp for free.
The Kandos Street Machine and Hot Rod Show is proud to be one of the most laid back and family friendly car shows around, so don’t miss out.
Event tickets can be bought at the gate. Adult, children and family tickets are available and can be bought for individual days or for the whole weekend.
