The Huntington Estate Music Festival will be delighting the senses this weekend when it returns for its 28th year.
Held annually in the Barrel Room of the Huntington Estate winery in Mudgee, the event provides a unique atmosphere in which to enjoy a glorious selection of music accompanied by fine food and wine.
The musical content of the festival is devised by Artistic Director Carl Vine and managed by the world’s largest chamber music entrepreneur, Musica Viva Australia.
International and local talent will be performing an exclusive mix of great classics and popular favourites of chamber music.
There will be some surprises mixed in as well, but the 2017 event is being touted as the Year Of The Great Classic.
The program features late morning and evening concerts, with time in between to get out and about and enjoy Mudgee and its surrounds, or to simply have a leisurely stroll around the scenic grounds at Huntington Estate.
All concerts include generous interval refreshments and are followed by gourmet meals and a selection of the best Huntington wines.
Evening concerts are preceded by a choice of aperitifs, with the full wine service continuing through the concert interval and afterwards.
