The region’s show season will kick off this weekend with the annual Gulgong Show taking place on Saturday 18 February.
The Gulgong Show is a chance for the local community to come together, celebrate the region’s produce and agricultural excellence and have a bit of fun too.
This year the Gulgong Show will have plenty for the whole family to enjoy. Some of the highlights will include a whip cracking competition, wood chopping, ute show, a rodeo, fireworks and lots more.
There will also be art and craft on display, a pet show and all of your favourite show regulars such as rides and entertainers. Of course, there will also be lots of yummy local food produce to enjoy too.
The Gulgong Show is an important event for the region that helps promote our local produce and the varying talents of our local craftspeople.
The entry fee to the show is $10 for adults, $6 for pensioners, $5 for children and free for those under five years old.
You can also catch the Rylstone Kandos Show on February 24-25 and the Mudgee Show and Rodeo on March 3-5.
