People living in the Mudgee region are encouraged to have a say on the future of the region by providing feedback on the Mid-Western Regional Council’s draft Community Plan, Delivery Program and Operational Plan.
These key documents will outline the plans and major projects the council plans to take over the next four years.
The Delivery Program 2017 – 2021 details the proposed activities and strategic direction the council will undertake to achieve goals that have been established in the Community Plan.
The Operational Plan for 2017 – 18 sets out the annual budgets for projects and activities in the next 12 months.
The council released the draft plans in April, but there is only a few days left to provide input so residents need to be quick to have their say. Community responses close on May 19.
All feedback and submissions will be reviewed as part of a final report presented at a council meeting in June.
The draft Delivery Program and OperationalPlan are available to view online at the council’s website – www.midwestern.nsw.gov.au – and at all council offices.
We strongly recommended that everyone head over to the council website to add your voice and help influence the future development of the region.
