Glen Willow will be turned into an outdoor cinema later this month thanks to Newcastle Permanent who will be bringing their outdoor cinema program to town.
The group is bringing its free outdoor cinema program to 17 stunning regional locations across New South Wales over the warmer months and luckily Mudgee is on their list!
According to Newcastle Permanent CEO Terry Millett in the Mudgee Guardian, the free event is a way of giving back to families.
“Each location will feature a great evening of free, family-friendly entertainment including local talented musicians, followed by a blockbuster movie for all ages at sundown.
“We encourage everyone to come down from 5.30pm to settle in and relax with a picnic and experience the magical atmosphere of watching a popular family film in the great outdoors,” Mr Millett said.
The feel-good animated movie, Moana, will be playing on the night, but head down to Glen Willow before the stars come out for some small-sided football with the Central Coast Mariners or to learn some circus skills with Circus in Education.
It’s also worth heading along early to find the perfect spot and to sit back and enjoy the sound of live musicians.
The film itself will begin once the sunsets.
