Locals and visitors to Mudgee are being invited to follow the inaugural Mudgee Region Food + Drink Trail on the weekend of April 16 and 17 and discover the best local produce in the region.
During the weekend there will be an abundance of fresh produce, delectable drink options and paddock to plate dining to enjoy.
Your Trail Pass will be your key to unlocking the perfect pairings. Each voucher on the pass can be exchanged for a sample of local wine, beer, spirit or other beverage, expertly paired with a regionally inspired small dish.
There will be 17 unique stops and experiences to choose from, including restaurants and cafes, wineries and distilleries.
Trail passes cost just $40 + $3 booking fee and each contains five vouchers that can be exchanged for one food and one beverage sample at each participating restaurant on the weekend.
Groups of five or more are encouraged to book at each venue.
Participating venues include Alby + Esthers, Artisan on Lewis, Baker Williams Distillery, Blue Wren, Botobolar, Burnbrae, di Lusso Estate, Elton’s + Gilbert Family Wines, Huntington Estate, Lowe Wines, Moothi Estate, Mudgee Brewing Co, SHORT SHEEP Micro-Winery, Slowfox Wines, Skimstone Wines, Wellstead Shrubs and Winning Post Motor Inn.
