So this week, to help newcomers settle in, we thought we would provide some resources to help out Mudgee’s new residents.
First of all, you may like to search through this blog for topics about Mudgee, to help you learn a little more about this fantastic region. Simply type “Mudgee” into the search box on the top right and you should find plenty of information about activities, news and events that relate to our local region. Also feel free to browse through I Love Mudgee and read our home and lifestyle tips too.
Another useful online resource is the Mid-Western Regional Council website where you can find information on pet registration, bin collection days, local community services and much more. Rural landowners may also be interested in reading the Council’s Rural Living Handbook, which can be downloaded here.
Once you arrive in the Mudgee region, it might also be worth heading to the Mudgee Visitor Information Centre where you can find out information about our local events and attractions and find maps and other information about the local region. The Mudgee Visitor Information Centre is located at 84 Market Street in Mudgee. You can also visit their website www.visitmudgeeregion.com.au which is full of lots of ideas of things to get up to on the weekends in Mudgee.
If you’re after any more advice that we haven’t covered then feel free to send us a message or post a question to the Mudgee community on the I Love Mudgee Facebook page.
