The festival will be taking place on the weekend of August 18 & 19 and it’s open for everyone from first-time runners to experienced marathoners.
You don’t need to be competitive to take part in the Mudgee Running Festival, it’s worth running in the event just to be able to enjoy the course itself, which will travel through the Mudgee Valley, offering picturesque views of vineyards, farmland and friendly volunteers cheering all the runners on.
As well as the running, the festival will also feature a jumping castle for the kids, merchandise tents, food and drinks and a free BBQ lunch for all runners.
There will be a 5km and 10km event taking place on the Saturday of the festival and a half and full marathon will be taking place on the Sunday. All of the races will commence from Lawson Park.
You can register online to take part in the event, simply head to mudgeetriclub.hwy.com.au for full details.
The Mudgee Running Festival should be a heap of fun for everyone who takes part – so who’s planning on racing this year?
