Not only do the farmers and producers who for Mudgee Fine Foods Inc (MFFI) organise our monthly Farmers Market here in Mudgee (held on the third Saturday of each month in the grounds of St. Mary’s Catholic Church on the corner of Market and Church streets), the group also provides a number of other community services that the Mudgee Region benefits from.
Whether you’re a true local like ourselves, or if you’re a visitor to the area, there are a number of events held by Mudgee Find Foods each year that offer great entertainment, environmental education and of course promote all that is great about Mudgee’s fine food and wine.
Farm Walks are a popular pastime, especially for those looking for a great way to spend a day with the family. The Farm Walks are enjoyed by all generations and are a great way to show young children where their food comes from.
Mudgee Fine Foods also conducts monthly cooking classes for kids aged 8 to 12 at the Farmers Markets mentioned above, however with April’s class being held during Youth Week this year, it is open to 12 to 24 year olds. Bookings are absolutely essential, and you can find all of the information you need on the Kids Cooking page of the Mudgee Fine Foods website.
As you know, we’re advocates of all things Mudgee, and we love supporting local groups like the wonderful people that make up Mudgee Fine Foods Inc. If you would like more information or would like to subscribe to the Farmers Market Newsletter, email the team or visit http://mudgeefinefoods.com.au.
