For quite a while now, we’ve been using social networking and new technologies to help give our customers and networks a great online experience, so we thought we’d share some of the things we learnt recently during a trip that Adam took to the USA, in furthering his knowledge about technology and effective uses for it in real estate for consumers.
Going to the States is like stepping forward in time. Compared to Australia, they’re miles ahead and are shaping the way that communication happens between real estate agents and consumers, as well as peer to peer online networking. Learning what things work and where to focus energy is a little overwhelming to start with, because there is just so much technology and so many things are changing at a rapid pace.
For us though, one of the biggest parts of the conference that Adam attended was learning how to add as much value to the online real estate consumer’s experience as possible. Video is definitely one of the biggest parts of this, because it can be viewed any time, and the visual impact means that it’s much easier to retain information.
It was also great to have affirmation that blogging is also becoming a more valuable tool for consumers. Being able to get all of the local area and real estate information they need in the one place is really important, and becoming more so in Australia by the month. We’ve found that through the I Love Mudgee blog, it is much easier to keep in touch with people in the Mudgee community, and to help them find the information they need quickly and easily. We hope that’s the experience you’ve had to date!
So, in the spirit of furthering our tech-knowledge-y, we hope to bring you more and more valuable information through our new look I Love Mudgee blog, our I Love Mudgee facebook page and of course through our YouTube channel, twitter feed and the new Professionals Mudgee real estate website.
If there’s something you’d like to see on I Love Mudgee, please feel free to send through to Adam or Chandelle or post directly to the I Love Mudgee facebook wall. Thanks for your continued support and love of the Mudgee community!
