Since we’re at the end of the working week, I think it’s time we took a break from the serious side of things to talk about what’s going on in our community this weekend. We live in a beautiful and bountiful part of the country, so let’s make the most of it!
It’s the last Saturday of the month, so die-hard fans will know that it’s time for the Railway Markets. If you haven’t been before, you should know that it happens of the 4th weekend of every month, and gathers together an exciting array of stalls.
Mix up your shopping routine and get amongst local farmers and producers for the best of what the area has to offer. Get a delicious coffee from one of the carts and take a stroll to see local honey, meat, fruit and vegetables. If you’re feeling indulgent, get a bacon and egg roll for brekkie and enjoy the spring morning (weather permitting).
If you have little ones they might be interested in getting creative and dressing up for Halloween. Whilst traditionally a North American holiday, it’s grown in popularity here over the last few years and it doesn’t have to cost a lot to take part in the fun.
